Nestled at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountains and lying above the charming historic town of Swellendam, the course offers a scenic and rewarding experience for golfers of all levels.

Perfectly positioned along the N2—halfway between Cape Town and George—Swellendam is far more than a stopover. It’s a destination in its own right: for golfers, outdoor adventurers, history lovers and travellers alike.

Course & Facilities

Originally designed by Ken Elkin in 1947, our par 72, nine-hole course has stood the test of time, offering a mix of playability and challenge. In 2024, the course underwent major upgrades as part of our Continuous Improvement Project, enhancing playability while preserving its classic charm.

• Practice putting green, warm-up nets, and a practice bunker conveniently located near the clubhouse

Our Club Bar is well-stocked with a variety of refreshments. Unwind after your round with a cold one, catch live sport on TV, or simply take in the sunset.

The Golf Café serves light breakfasts, brunches and lunches, and is open to all on selected days:
Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 09h00 – 17h00 (Last kitchen orders: 16h00)
Perfect as a halfway house—golfers can place orders before tee-off or when passing by the clubhouse en route to the 7th.
